A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Know what a useful result looks like.

Combine images into a canvas with intentional framing.

Try this workflow

Start with
Three practice images.
Set up
Choose a two-column grid, set the canvas, then compare Fit and Fill.
What to expect
Fit keeps the entire photo inside each cell. Fill crops to cover the cell. Photo order determines which cell receives each image.

Check before using the result

  • Check every cell for cropped faces or text.
  • Check empty cells, gaps and final canvas dimensions.

When the result needs work

Different source proportions can need different framing. A larger collage canvas cannot create detail absent from the source images.

Examples illustrate specific inputs and settings. Actual output size and appearance depend on your file and browser. Practice images are synthetic; they do not contain personal data.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

More help

How many photos can I combine?

Add 2–8 JPG, PNG or WebP images. Choose one to four columns and use the arrow controls to change the order. The combined input limit is 64 megapixels to keep the workspace manageable.

Will the collage crop my photos?

Fill each cell crops the edges to fit the chosen layout. Fit the whole photo preserves each photo inside its cell, with the background color filling any empty space. Unfilled cells use the same background.

Can I choose the collage dimensions?

Yes. Enter the final width and height, choose spacing and a background, then export as JPG or PNG. Output supports up to 8,192 pixels per side and 32 megapixels in total.

Are my images uploaded or stored?

No. These tools read and process image files locally in your browser. No account is required, and this workspace does not send filenames or editing results to our server.

Which images can I use?

Use JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 50 MB each, 8,192 pixels on either side and 32 megapixels in total. Animated files are processed as a still frame. For HEIC, use our HEIC to JPG converter first.
