A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Know what a useful result looks like.

Produce a precise crop in source pixel coordinates.

Try this workflow

Start with
A 640 × 480 practice image.
Set up
Select a rectangle or enter coordinates, then apply the crop.
What to expect
A crop changes the canvas dimensions and discards pixels outside the selected rectangle. Rotation and flipping operate on the current edited canvas.

Check before using the result

  • Check the final width and height.
  • Check which transform is being applied to the current image.

When the result needs work

Preview coordinates are scaled to source pixels. Use the numeric fields for exact placement and start over from the original when you need discarded content.

Examples illustrate specific inputs and settings. Actual output size and appearance depend on your file and browser. Practice images are synthetic; they do not contain personal data.
