A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Know what a useful result looks like.

Adjust tone and color while keeping source dimensions.

Try this workflow

Start with
A flat practice graphic or a dim photograph.
Set up
Increase brightness gently, then compare Original and Edited.
What to expect
The PNG export has the original pixel dimensions. Brightness, contrast and saturation alter the pixels; neutral values preserve the unadjusted appearance.

Check before using the result

  • Check highlights for clipping.
  • Review skin tones and saturated colors.

When the result needs work

The fitted preview is smaller than the export. Large changes can make artifacts easier to see; reset the controls if the image becomes unnatural.

Examples illustrate specific inputs and settings. Actual output size and appearance depend on your file and browser. Practice images are synthetic; they do not contain personal data.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

More help

What can I adjust?

Use brightness, contrast and saturation sliders, or switch to black and white. Reset adjustments returns all controls to their original settings.

Does this keep the original resolution?

Yes. The preview is scaled for your screen, while the exported PNG uses the original pixel dimensions. Edits change the pixels and do not restore lost detail.

Are my images uploaded or stored?

No. These tools read and process image files locally in your browser. No account is required, and this workspace does not send filenames or editing results to our server.

Which images can I use?

Use JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 50 MB each, 8,192 pixels on either side and 32 megapixels in total. Animated files are processed as a still frame. For HEIC, use our HEIC to JPG converter first.
